The Swoop flight  from Winnipeg gets in at 10:00 pm on Friday so I'm considering flying in Thursday night so that I don't miss anything of Friday.

After great reflection (  : I have decided even as TFC season ticket holder I will be at the Forge York 9 CPL opener. Figure there will be about 20 other times I will be down at BMO this year, so what's the big deal with missing one all in the name of Canadian footy.

I'm planning to come for this game.  The flight from Winnipeg is only $135 (Swoop) and I have enough points for free hotel, so add in game ticket and airport transportation, and I'm looking at $200 (ish).  Seems pretty reasonable.  Now I'm just waiting for official confirmation that Winnipeg isn't playing the first weekend.

You won't be the only Wanderers fan there. I'll be heading out from Halifax. Trying to convince a few others to join me.

Sorta sounding like Valour will have a by that weekend.  So...a big fat maybe. Need to work on the Wee Elf a bit.  Stay tuned.   
But Good Lord, aren't Forge going to have a Beer Garden or something at the stadium?  Early start or no?  If they do seems like a logistical solution.
