According to James Hutton, I an now officially on the list. This is starting to get real!
On an unrelated note, is it April 27th yet?
Change of plans, we have to buy and resell the tickets.
They are for sale on the front of the site.

Tickets are for sale on the front page.
Tickets are $20 (our cost is $19, so with Pay Pal fees we are charging $20)

May I ask which place this is...bar/restaurant?
Staircase cafe/theater.
It's almost certainly in use on a Friday.

I think if there is nothing officially organised for Friday us local V's in The Hammer will put something together, we look forward to hosting all of our out of town visitors!
Sounds great. I'll see if we can do something at my brothers place. It might be booked though.

Might be needing a place to crash the nights of the 26th and 27th unless the gf comes with and we go with an AirBnB. If the former, anyone have a spare bed?
Sending you a PM

I forgot to cross post from the York 9 forum but the number of fans expected to take advantage of the bus ride & ticket offer to Hamilton has swelled from 1000 two weeks ago to 1200 to 1500.
Also added at last night's pub night by their marketing man Ben Z is an offer for non-SSH fans for return bus ride plus ticket all for $50.00. SSH get it all for FREE.
That is fantastic news.

WHOOWEEE! Some kinda PARTY!!!!
Two weeks in 105 replies:
20 from socceronly
10 from rob.notenboom
9 from gator
6 from Mrs.C
6 from dsqpr
We are expecting about 200 in case you are looking at something to complain about, implying that there is no traffic in the thread.

A Hamilton streaker could be a public health and safety concern.

I would contend, the most vaunted thing to wear in that section is something from a team to be.

I haven’t actually made my choice, and may not actually make one.
And Valour actually makes the most sense. I’m in Winnipeg for work very often and am closest to it (570ish kms vs 750ish kms to Calgary).
Besides, having purchased one item from each of three teams, I’m not sure that clarifies anything. 😁
Pile of Bones Jersey
Nothing else will do.

I want to be there, but have a major conflict I have to resolve first.
Match conflict resolution services are something The Voyageurs have been offering, albeit in a rather clandestine manner, for many years.
Examples of our services include the following- Doctors notes

Random acts of

- Threatening phone calls

Good friend of mine promised to take me so count me in.
Sorry, but you forgot to mention that seat could be relinquished at any time should certain 'opportunities' arise.

I'm tempted to head down as I've never been to the Hammer, and it *is* an historic match . . . but I kind of feel like I'd be selling out my Wanderers. I'll mull it over.
Step 1 - go to the game.
Step 2 - relentlessly chirp both teams while wearing your Wanderers jersey and kilt.

This is what is looking most likely at this point.
1. We will arrange with James a section for all of the out of towners and soccer nerds that are not Forge fans but just want to be there on opening day.
2. BSB will arrange a post game party for everyone.

Or we could do a massive breakfast somewhere, then do a post game event at a bar.

We could have a brief pre game get together then a post match one, the meet up after the Canada/Germany match was great, lots of out of town V's there!
I think it's gonna be a post game event of some kind.
