Boris Gavric scored 24 goals in 28 games for Travnik (Bosnia & Hercegovina 2nd tier) last season and transferred to Banja Luka, ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.
Crappy. Best of luck with his recovery.

Or they were meant to put some pressure on Lübeck. It worked cause they signed him til 2017. He wasn't able to play himself in the picture this preseason, and this is the solution they've come up with.
Why would he need to pressure Lubeck? He was never officially signed by the club because he was under 18, and they would not have received comp. if he signed elsewhere. He signed with Lubeck because he felt loyalty towards them for letting him train there for almost 2 years as an under-aged player.

Derek Cornelius has moved to 5th tier VfR Neumünster on a 1-year contract.
After the trials he went on last year and interest from Russian and Norwegian clubs this move makes no sense.

Probably a much better chance for Piette to be in the starting XI compared to when he was at Ferrol, right?

Here is the latest info I was able to find on Malyk from someone who closely follows West Ham youth players.
'Malyk is an attacking midfielder from Canada who is part of this season's scholarship intake. He joined as an U12 from Calgary Foothills and was one of the U16s key players last season whilst making a few U18 appearances. He is one of a few players from this group to make their U18 debut as an U15 (in the 2014/15 season).
It's hard to say what the U18s are going to do attacking-midfielder wise. As well as Domingos Quina there is also Dan Kemp but I reckon in the second half of the season the first two will be mainly U21 players and Malyk should be first choice AM for the 18s.'
Is he a '99?

20 year old Dieu-Merci Yuma has been playing since March with Crato in the Portuguese 3rd tier. In 6 games so far he has scored 3 goals.
Dieu Merci (Thank God) Yuma from North Scarborough. He's a 96, just turned 20 in Feb. Made his debut in March, 2 goals in 5 league matches.

Looks like his club might get relegated...

Based on Canucks Abroad's twitter I'm gonna say it's a lad by the name of Liam Miller
The 35 yr old Irish guy who used to play for ManU?

Ok, so who signed at Liverpool?
- BradMack and Complete Homer

Adonijah Reid is too young to sign abroad, he turns 18 next August.
edit: so the player likely has a Euro passport or just turned 18.

Seamus Flowerbottom. An 9 yr old born in St. John's, NL to Irish parents and moved back to Derry at the age of 1.

Let's discuss this move in a separate thread please.

Kristian Lee-Him has dreams of playing for T&T.
" Lee-Him told the Soca Warriors Online (SWO) in a little chit-chat session yesterday: “I want to play for T&T one day and have always wanted to, even if I get the chance to train with them it would be wonderful. However, I know I have to continue to work hard and settle in with a club to improve my chances.”
So his other nationalities are actually Trinidadian and Italian (the doc has him listed as Korean).

It's a forum, people will discuss things. Deal with it.
But I agree to a certain extend and have voiced this: Lets keep politics & other irrelevant stuff out of it.
Typically discussion was always kept to a minimum in this thread over the years. If discussion was warranted posters were encouraged to start a new thread, such as "Derek Cornelius trialing at Terek Grozny". That way new info. relating to a player would not get lost in the clutter of a few pages of new posts in a short time span. It makes sense imo.

According to transfermarket he has a contract with Lubeck until June 2017:
http://www.transfermarkt.com/derek-cornelius/profil/spieler/328609
So if that is true Lubeck will get a transfer fee, not development fee. If he was not signed they would get nothing because he was never signed officially by the club.
Cornelius turned 18 in November so the signing was recent.

I believe Cornelius was one of the highly rated 97's from the 2013 U17 player pool that chose not to sign with TFC academy. Good for him that he was getting high level training in Europe, too bad Andrew Gordon couldn't do the same.

I guess if we were ever in a pinch during these qualifers - like say after our top 4 or 5 keepers were hurt - we could give Lars a call....

I would have a hard time thinking of a worse candidate for MNT than Yallop. I would even take Miller over him.
C'mon Grizz, Miller was beyond terrible coaching at the 2013 GC.

I am going to assume espnfc got this wrong, but they do have Andre Gray from Burnley listed as born in Canada.
Every other source lists Wolverhampton as his birthplace.

With Euro passport players can also only sign a contract when they're 18. Youth players are free to go wherever they want to.
With a Euro passport players can sign pro contracts as young as 16 depending on the country.
A player like Reid who does not have a Euro passport can only train with a clubs youth team and cannot play in official matches for them.

If that happened we would have heard about it. There is no way Bayern signed a Canadian and this is the first we've heard about it. But, hey, I might check this out just to be sure
Yes, which is why i wrote what i did above.

I don't currently include League One / PLSQ level. If someone wants to take on that project, let me know, but it's a bit too much for me and my team to handle at this point.
He meant the signings grouping. Apparently SAAC kids signed at Bayern, Barca, Genk, Nice etc.
Pretty sure Reid doesn't have a Euro passport so he can't sign until he's 18.

Good move if he can break into the starting XI. Augsburg has not been a good situation, the jump from Regionalliga (4th tier) with the reserves to B1 is huge.
Stanese is eligible for Romania and i believe has already been approached by their U21/23 program a couple of years ago. We need to keep in close contact and bring him in as soon as he's racking up minutes and doing well.
