Can we convince the Forge FO to print us hard tickets so we have a keepsake from this historical match? I believe the York 9 are getting them to hand out to everyone on their buses. Just an idea. Can't wait for the big day.

I was stressing to have people buy them ASAP because this is not a Canada game.  
They might cut off our ticket sales tomorrow. 
So people really should get them soon, and convince others to get off the fence and quit whining about seeing Portland for the 70th time if that is their issue.... 

We need to celebrate this new league properly, with mimosas!

K, first off, that's not an Ontario plate, which means...it has a license plate, so it's already not sketchy enough to pass the Hamilton sniff test. Second, rust is a valuable commodity in steeltown. I kid you not, we literally have a building that was designed to rust here. We wouldn't waste it on a van. Last, it's considered rude to not leave your own cinder blocks by your car, so be sure you buy a set.

In Hamilton we consider that a sweet ride.

Shouldn't be a problem.
However, when in Rome.... since it is Hamilton I was thinking we should really just hand out the tickets in an alley from a crusty old van. 

I have this one lined up.

Let's see how it proceeds. If we sell out all 175, which I think we will, I can gauge by who they are what the section will be like. 
It could be tea in biscuits, but so far that is not looking likely. 
 
EDIT: What I mean is it looks like a factory of insanity, I'll see if we find a place for them. This  isn't a Canada game though... but they seem very accommodating. 

when i went to print out tickets for the whitecaps home opener , the web site told me i couldn't. had to put them on my phone

Tickets will get emailed out closer to the game. 
I wonder if we can get physical tickets for keepsakes....

I think if there is nothing officially organised for Friday us local V's in The Hammer will put something together, we look forward to hosting all of our out of town visitors!

1000+ fans coming to Hamilton for the opening game will help kickstart an actual (friendly) rivalry between teams.  I’m sure that 1,000+ Forge fans will reciprocate when York9 hosts Hamilton. This is a great way to start off the league. 

I forgot to cross post from the York 9 forum but the number of fans expected to take advantage of the bus ride & ticket offer to Hamilton has swelled from 1000 two weeks ago to 1200 to 1500. 
Also added at last night's pub night by their marketing man Ben Z is an offer for non-SSH fans for return bus ride plus ticket all for $50.00.               SSH get it all for FREE.   

We are expecting about 200 in case you are looking at something to complain about, implying that there is no traffic in the thread.
