Another guy picking the USL over CPL. I don't know if we should be worried.
-
Has there been any news on Noble Okello and Julian Dunn? There was the one post from Denmark but since then everything has gone quiet.
-
I don't know anything about this kid, couldn't find anything when i googled him.

Why would a professonal player sit out for a year, it makes no sense? Unless you are joking, can we stop with this silliness guys.
I forgot you're kind of a dick. My bad.

Courtesy of Canucks Abroad, Kris Twardek going to Sligo Rovers in the Irish Premier League!?!? Seems like a long drop off from almost making Millwall:
It's funny how we live and die by many of these dual nationals but then they don't really turn out into these great players once they choose Canada. He was really poor at the Toulon Tournament and as for this move, as long as he gets regular minutes that's good.

Farago has left St. Pats.

I assume they'll fight for promotion but until then I really don't want Aird or Gasparotto getting call ups. We should aim higher than the Scottish 2nd division.
-
So it looks like Fraser Aird and Dumfernline will fight for promotion, while Charlie Trafford and Inverness will not after coming so close. Gasparotto and Greenock fell off later in the season and won't either..

You would be right. They were 2d division last few years, but were relegated last year. Team should have a good infrastructure for that level.
They are currently in a relegation battle though.

Damien Strangio has signed with 4th tier Czech side Velka Bites. He joins Canadian Ryan Whittingham who signed with the club back in September.
Damien has played with York Region Shooters. I think he was also part of the TFC Academy when he was younger.

I wonder what the thought process goes into many of our young Canadians who go to Europe and end up playing in fourth divisions around Europe. I can't imagine the pay is great, especially in Eastern Europe. Simply the love of the game? The culture shock for some must be immense, from the outside looking in it seems like a lot of effort for very little pay off. But I don't know maybe this is everything they've ever wanted.

Don't quite know where to put this but Ferdi Kadioglu has been chosen the greatest talent of the Jupiler League in the third period. I now he's a longshot but his side NEC Nijmegen is looking a strong contender for promotion and he is (still) a very long way from being selected by either the Turkish or the Dutch national teams. I think I would take try and invite him to a camp.

FYI: Born in Netherlands; Turkish dad, Canadian mom.
I suppose the question do the CSA even know about him? I'm still convinced they aren't even aware of guys like Andreas Vaikla.
Also you can make his own thread for more visibility!

Has Diego Gutierrez been getting games at all for Palestino?

It's on Wikipedia but I can't find confirmation elsewhere but apparently Milovan Kapor joined Hapoel Hadera in the Israeli 2nd division.

A bit underwhelming no?
More than that. Falkirk was a better team. If he wasn't going to move up a level then he should have stayed there. I hope Fraser doesn't become a journeyman bopping around lower level clubs, if this is the level of offers he's getting I'd rather him come to the CPL when it launches.

Charlie Trafford is close to signing a contract with RoPS in Finland.
Honestly he was comfortable in Finland and was great for KuPS. Happy to see him play there until the CPL begins and he can come home. I really rate him.

Yes, i'm just pointing it out as a point of comparison for him going forward. It's a good move (as i wrote in his thread) because Sedan are more likely to move up.
I looked into the team and damn I didn't realize this was the same Sedan from Ligue 1 a few season ago. They went full Energie Cottbus.

Dieu Merci Yuma has signed with Sedan (French 4th tier) from Portuguese 4th tier side Electrico. He had 21 goals in 15 games this season.
Ryan Reid has also signed with Sedan. He played with Yumas this past season in Portugal. Both players are 21 years old.

I assumed he was going to move up a level.

I wonder how this works? Does MLS allow kids to jump between MLS academies?
