  1. So anyways, how about we track some mothafuckin Canadians, shall we?

Canadian-Argentinian MF Miguel Romeo, who played last year with Calgary Foothills, is currently playing with Kultsu FC in the Kakkonen. Along with Calgary Foothills, Romeo has played with Central and St. Anne's in the T&T Premier League, and with Pasaquina in the El Salvadorian Primera Division. You could say he's yo-yo'd in the T&T Premier League or something.

Noticed him as Miguel Romero in the MOACA list. Gave me an excuse to use the words "track some mothafuckin Canadians" and try and re-rail this thread.

  2. Based on this article, it sounds like Haber won't be back at Crewe, but other clubs in League Two are showing interest. If he's going to play in League Two I don't see why he wouldn't just stay at Crewe, presuming that they want him back of course (maybe they don't)

"Marcus with the time he's been away with Canada, could have also had 13 or 14 goals and we'd have been saying that's a decent return for a number nine," he said.

"He's done ok for us, I know he frustrates you at times but that's the first time in his career he's got double figures so we have got the best out of him."

It seems unlikely that he will extend his stay at the Alex beyond this summer with his current contract set to come to an end, with League Two sides already showing interest, the Sentinel understands.

Not sure where to put this but Canucks Abroad reporting on Twitter that Liverpool will sign its first ever Canadian player in the next few days.

    Guesses?

I guess that.....Canucks Abroad is full of shit? ;) I can't think of anyone that would fit the bill to be honest. Maybe Ballou Tabla?

Wow. Ok that is interesting. Bypassing NCAA straight to USL ... I would say if he plays and performs he might be mentioned in same convos as other TFC/VAN/MTL prospects in that league.

I saw him play at the Sigma showcase in Dec and to me, looked to be the most gifted player on the day I was there. I don't want to hype him up to much, but I would say he is one to watch this season.

NCAA has been great for opening doors for a few players (Larin, Laryea, Bekker) but really hasn't worked for others (Irving as the best recent example). I think that we will see more players taking the USL route over NCAA as they can potentially have 4 years professional experience by the time they are even draft eligible.
