  1. As Sebastien stated this was before the game and before the teams even came out on the field, not sure what the capacity is in the North Stand, i would think about 14,000, so 6543 fans in attendance .would look like the place is half empty, unfortunately the seating was switched a week before the game from the south side to the north side due to the south side being still jammed with ice and snow. as you can see in the picture people were sitting all over the place due to it being general admission but as the game started the gaps from the bottom up were filled in and looked quite impressive from the south side.
  2. I was in the south side on saturday and looking across at the north side with the majority of the 6500 sitting in the lower section it looked great, there were people in the south side in the corporate boxes. What was good to hear was the supporters section, who are now permanently on the north side their drumming and cheering was easily heard on the south side, whereas when they were in the east end last year you could'nt here them. Nashville were a level above the Fury, as they are gearing up for MLS next year, hopefully we will get a better idea of how the team is this saturday when they play newcomers Loudon, but i am still worried about where the goals are coming from.
  3. You might want to check your facts, before the Fury was ever thought of one of the directors of OSEG was very much involved in football(soccer) Bill Shenkman has been a convert for many years and proves it by being a shareholder in English Championship team Millwall
  4. Home opener is this saturday, and for a first time all fans will be sitting in the NORTH stands, this is because the south stands are still jammed with snow and ice. Since the Fury's last game they will have been off for 3 weeks, they have been practicing in the dome in Gatineau and have played 2 exhibition game, the first was in Toronto where they played TFC in first half and TFC2 in 2nd half, no score or reports, and last friday they played AS Blainville again no score or reports.
  5. They did the 5 subs last season for all away games
  6. It has always been Popovich`s rule that he only dresses 5 subs for away games
  7. Ottawa Fury moved their training camp from frozen Ottawa to warm and sunny Florida, a few days ago, today they played their 3rd pre-season after playing a university team and a quebec young team, they played MLS team Philadelphia Union, with the Union team winning 2-1, Fury's goal was scored by Christiano Francois. Fury's final pre-season game is next saturday at IMG Academy against Icelandic team Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar (FH) .
  8. 2 pre-season games completed, 2-1 win v Carleton University and a 4-0 win against Mistral de Sherbrooke , Fury wrap up their training camp in the cold on monday and then head to Florida at IMG Academy where they will stay until the season starts, they will play 2 games, one against Philadephia Union and the other against a Icelandic team. Fury also added 3 more players, trialists Thiago De Freitas and El Hadji Mour Samb and also Daniel Kinumbe on loan from Montreal Impact.
  9. The first pre-season game was yesterday and it was not open, there is another game this week i do not know about that one, there are 2 games in Florida, the one against Phladelphia is not open to fans but maybe streamed, the 4th game against the Icelandic team is at ING Academy and in the past the games at ING are open to the public but have also been streamed.

  12. Fury started to sign some more players, Charlie Ward a midfielder player played for San Antonio last year and 2 on season long loan from Montreal Impact Goalkeeper Jason Beaulieu and defender Thomas Meilleur-Giguère. Great to get Thomas back
  13. Goalkeeper Jason Beaulieu and defender Thomas Meilleur-Giguère will spend the season on loan with Ottawa Fury FC through the partnership agreement which will soon be approved by MLS and USL. https://www.impactmontreal.com/en/post/2019/01/20/29-players-will-take-part-2019-montreal-impact-training-camp?fbclid=IwAR1Ydvrb6SYyBmKepmWxKZXh5i9rdEdI7qjKXJFukSDScCCmIvyj-_zaD5s I am really glad to see Thomas Meilleur-Giguère coming back.
