I can try and help, is it just the numbering of the tiers you need help with?
Currently, yeah.
-
Haha yeah, I was looking up info on Appiah before finding the other one. I remembered him from an olympic squad some years ago. He now plays at http://www.lewesfc.com/player/phil-appiah/
On a side note, Anthony di Bernardo has a Youtube channel with some cool goalie training videos
Thanks, fixed.
On a side-note I need some help from someone with a good understanding of the English football pyramid. Can someone take a look at everything below League One and let me know if I classified the tier correctly? I get confused whether something is 6,7 or 8 sometimes.
Ideally, I'd like to categorize "Youth" as U18 or U21 as well, but haven't gotten into that yet either.

I may or may not have stumbled on a Canadian player, Anthony di Bernardo...
Wikipedia lists him as from Canada (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonbridge_Angels_F.C.)
but the club's website offers no information on that matter (http://www.tonbridgeangelsonline.co.uk/teams/37863/player/anthony-di-bernardo-1490339)
Maybe football manager could be of some help?
Thanks. Added.
I can't find a whole lot of info on this player. Still need birth-date and home town and if he has second nationality.
I also came across this guy: Phil Appia http://int.soccerway.com/players/phil-appiah/143933/ , but he no longer plays there. I moved him to "status unknown".

Aparicio and Clarke dropped from their MLS teams.
Thanks. My friend @downtowntbrown_ will udpate this shortly. He is Canucks Abroad's guy for the North American region.
-
He's a player
Can you link me the origin of this rumour. I dont know how to navigate Instagram properly.

Sasa Plavsic leaves IK Frej after 2 seasons. http://www.ikfrej.se/group/2766/post/643609
Also Sweden's FA is implementing new foreigner restrictions, which could have bad effects for Canadains there.
New rules in Sweden for next year. Only teams in the 3 (2 for women) top divisions are allowed to sign non-EU players (this doesn't affect players with permanent residency). Teams in div. 1 & Elitettan (W 2nd div). Are only allowed to sign non-Eu players on a 1year contract. Unfortunately its not unusual with collective punishment from Swedish FA. Not sure how this affects Alex Hainault for example.

I deleted it because I had a brain malfunction forgetting Sam is now cap tied from the Belize match. So, my point was pointless!
So do you have the same issue that once you quote something you can't get rid of the quote? It happens to me all the time and then i can't delete my post, haha.
-
Did you mean to say something, cause your quote is empty?!

Charlie Trafford has signed with Korona Kielce in the Polish first division. A good level for him I would imagine? Also, cue the OMG TRAFFORD IS GOING TO PLAY FOR POLAND rumours
He will be available from January 1st and it's a 18 months contract.

Doneil Henry rejoins Blackburn on loan. Excellent move as Doneil wasn't going to see any time with The Hammers
http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/doneil-henry-blackburn-rovers-west-ham-united-2816654.aspx
Yeah, I was hoping this would happen! Updated the table.

If he becomes the second goal it's not a good move IMO. Better tot get some games under your belt especially as a goalkeeper. But if he starts or at least get's the chance to challenge the nr. 1, nice upward move. Time will tell.
I was checking Regionalliga-games (Stanese is back from injury) and I noticed Lucas Menz was playing for Nord-Ost division side Viktoria Berlin. It was his 4th start this season. It's not a strong division nor is Viktoria a strong club, but at least he's playing. Also, living in Berlin is probably not too bad either.
Edit: here's an article about Menz on the clubs website:
It doesn't say to much, a bit about his history (born in Frankfurt, then moved to Canada with his English dad and German Mother), that he could have signed an extension in Offenbach but that he wanted to be the first keeper somewhere. After Viktoria's #1 took on an administrative role, Viktoria 1889 needed a first goalkeeper. Two days after he signed with them he played his first game. It didn't go too well but he redeemed himself in the next matches. Trainer says he's an upgrade to the team.
Oh good find! I wondered what happened to him!
-
Added Brydon Caesar. His intention is to play for Guyana, but until he does we will track him.
-
Simon Thomas has signed with Bodo/Glimt of the Tippeligaen on a 3 year deal. Not sure where he stands in the depth chart as of yet. But, good to see him moving up in the world after moving around from place to place his whole career.

Fantastic move for the new Canadian national team player. Three years gives him some comfortable job security too!
-
Jordan pointed out to me on Twitter that Brydon Caesar just signed for a first division side in Norway:
http://www.fcviikingit.fi/brydon-caesar-vahvistaa-viikinkien-keskikenttaa/
He was called up to a camp of Guyana earlier this year. https://t.co/KMPqnqhkap
I can't figure out if he has played any senior international games though. If not, we should track him!

Finally a Canadian playing for 'Canadian' in the Uruguay 2nd div...?
Soccerway has Victor Miguel Gallo at Canadian and he has played 3 games so far with the club. Apparently, previously played for Woodbridge.
http://int.soccerway.com/players/victor-miguel-gallo/428625/
http://www.league1ontario.com/team/roster/player/482
In 2014, he was with Toronto FC Academy in League 1 Ontario.
Brilliant! A Canadian playing for Canadian in Uruguay. What is not to like?
Added him to the list!
-
Sorry, I couldn't get rid of the quotes for some reason.
-
Good find. He is our third one in New Zealand. Ive' added him.
-
Read what it says about him on Wikipedia under "Personal life"
Yikes. That's disturbing, but I am not going to apply Ethics when deciding whether or not to track a player. If a player has a Canadian passport and is theoretically "eligible", I am tracking him!
-
Judging by his personal life excerpt, I wouldn't bother
Can you expand on that?
We have a few unofficial sources, including a Dutch football expert on Twitter, who swear he has a Canadian passport. He played for all of the Dutch youth teams btw.

Football manager says these guys may be Canadian/or at club I can't confirm.

www.transfermarkt.com/kieran-xuereb/meistetorbeteiligungen/spieler/344104 … possibly canadian
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-gutierrez/profil/spieler/402786 … possibly the twin brother of the guy at Colo Colo
http://www.syrianskaif.com Claude Dufour-Peters?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucas_Bijker … this is probably the biggest long shot.
Added all of them except Lucas Bijker, can't find anything relevant on him.

Not sure if managers are of interest, but Michael Kim (Kim Young-min) apparently played for Canada at U-23 level, and is currently caretaker manager of Daejeon Citizen in South Korea's K-League Classic (first division).
They're almost guaranteed to be relegated to the second division, however. Seems doubtful if they'll be there next season, but you never know.
We don't currently track mangers/coaches. But I guess we could.
Is there any interest in this?

Greek 1st division
Manolis Zabazis was an unused sub for Iraklis in a 2-0 away loss against Olympiakos.
Greek 2nd division
Amraj Lally was an unusued sub for Zakynthos in a 1-1 draw versus Kerkyra.
* Note that Iraklis is now in the 1st division, so it needs to be updated on the google doc.
Fixed.
There is a small error with the name of the player in Estonia.
It should be Karl Vaikla and not Karl Valka.

Fixed.
Please check that I didn't mess this up
