Jordan Webb has moved to Tampines Rovers (Singapore). He dreams of playing for Singapore in the AFF Suzuki Cup.

Thanks. Changed clubs on tracking sheet. As soon as one of our Singapore-Canadians play for Singapore, we are taking them off!

Hey santijoes, she was not speaking Spanish, she was speaking Gallego!! You should be able to understand about 80% if you speak Spanish, and the rest you figure out as you go, as it is basically a form of Old Portuguese.
I happen to find Gallego quite beautiful, funnily enough my neighbours in Barcelona speak it, including on the same floor of my building, I live in a barrio full of immigrants from Lugo
I studied a semester in Cuba and in Mexico and my Spanish has been dying. Having said that, this comment explains why I found the commentary extremely hard to folllow!

Many thanks for posting the stream! Up to 70' and I am really impressed with Piette's play so far.. makes me think JDG in his unassuming but very very sound play, solid positionally and helps releave pressure time after time. He's released forwards with a couple of excellent through balls that remind me of some of his plays for the MNT.. I now see better why Floro rates him so highly.
You're welcome. Next time I can provide English commentary if there is enough interest. He was involved crucially in their 3rd goal. He switched the ball over quickly with a long ball from the left to the right side and that lead to a deadly counter with a beautiful goal.

According to press in Galicia, Sam Piette could be close to returning to Deportivo B, which would end his loan spell at Racing Ferrol. The team's poor results and a few new loans in (from Cadiz) could be factors, though Sam certainly could not be blamed for the still league leading Ferrol to have won only once of the last 4.
Read it here: http://www.galifutbol.com/ligas-nacionales/segunda-division-b/item/17292-racing-pena-sport-previa.html
Disappointing news given he was playing regularly.
He is on the bench for Ferrol today. There is a free & legal stream of the game happening right now: https://t.co/28W2yaCZYu

Apologies, I just don't like how Ben credited Dutch Orange. I can't post everything here, that would flood the forum, lol.

Lars Hirschfeld's career is NOT OVER folks!
He's just signed with KFUM Oslo (2nd division Norway but called 1.divisjon).
(thanks to @ BrilliantOranje on twitter for the find)
You know @canucks_abroad posted this on Twitter 10 hours ago right? If you don't follow us, and you are interested in this kind of thing, please do. Our coverage these days is almost comprehensive.

Daniel Haber and Frano both invited to Whitecaps camp.
I know I can go ahead and google it and probably find this info. But for the purpose of this thread, providing a link or source would be really helpful for everyone. Thanks in advance.

Looking a bit more at Guadalajara. That article says he was on trial with the second team, took a look and the B team is in 5th tier in Castille but leading their division, on course for a promotion into 3rd division, one below 2B.
So I could see Cantave being there to help the lower level team promote as well as add to the first team, could move around. While 5th would be a step down, from where he was, in u-19, it is fine if it is how he can get minutes vs senior men for the first time, esp since that team is doing very well. For me looks pretty win-win.
I don't really understand the Spanish football pyramid. Keep proving us with info please. I changed the info on the document too, thanks.

21-year old Agim Sherifi is with Laci in the Albanian 1st division. Apparently, he played with Sigma FC a few years ago.
So far he has only appeared on the bench once this season in the 1st division. He came off the bench in 2 games in the Albanian Cup.
Oh joy! Albania is so hard to track *sniff*. Added him.

Apparently David Monsalve is now plying his trade in Guatemala with CD Suchitepequez:
Yeah he won his game 3:1 tonight. It was the first game of the winter season, so his team are now in first. Great start!

Thanks. Added him. Yes, please Ricketts, get out of Turkey!

It makes sense to track him from a practicality perspective, if he's not good enough for the US, there is always the chance he could be an upgrade at a position for us
I asked him if he feels Canadian at all and this was his response:
"[...] it's hard not to feel Canadian when people get confused when you call a beanie a tuque!"

DM Jordan Schweitzer, who is born, raised and developed in the United States, but holds a Canadian passport, has been signed by the Seattle Sounders as a home grown player. I'm not the biggest fan of tracking these types of players but I know others like to, so here you are.
And from the Sounders: http://www.soundersfc.com/post/2016/01/07/sounders-fc-signs-defensive-midfielder-jordan-schweitzer-sixth-homegrown-player
Added. Put him in first team for now, but he'll probably play for the second team in the USL, I imagine? Also need his birth date.

No, but I'll try and reach out.
4 hours ago, Keegan said:This is MLS... not many guys have played top division soccer anywhere else. He would never be a "sure thing" to start every week but he would probably start more than half the games for most teams. Look at the average MLS starting roster and he has a higher pedigree than most with roughly 70 2. Bundesliga appearances and 45 caps for Canada. Hammarby, Duisburg and Cottbus played in lower divisions while he was there but are all decent clubs too and he always put himself in a position to play week in and week out.
One thing about Ledgerwood noone is talking about is his recent knee injury. Not sure if this will play a role going forward, but it sounded pretty serious.

Since we are following coaches now, Yallop has signed a 3 year contract to coach in USL. Pretty low to fall, I don't think he was MLS calibre but one would think he might have caught on in NASL
http://sbisoccer.com/2015/12/frank-yallop-named-arizona-united-head-coach
Yes he's on the list. We are missing quite a few coaches though, so keep them coming!

No offense to FCE but I feel Ledgerwood could definitely play in MLS. It's a shame that roster restrictions have in all likelihood prevented that.
I can't wait to find out where he goes. He could be a very good player in NASL or okay in MLS imho.

In other news, we know have 2015 NCAA D1 data provided by Aaron Nielson. You can find it under the "Youth Abroad" tab.

Yeah I saw that. Hoping he'll play for an NASL team.

So Ottawa boy Kris Twardek has been called up by U19 of Czech Republic again. According to "Toje" he didn't even speak the language when he was first called for U17. Just want to point out that we are monitoring his progress closely. As soon as he plays for the senior team, he goes off the list.
