Piette wearing the armband with Piatti and Bush on the pitch, even for a preseason game that's pretty remarkable
Rumour is that he'll get it

I know, just like Hoilett's dad & fam were pushing him to play for Jamaica... Heck, my fam is pushing me to play for Peru and a small side for Chile, just to share my own personal experience
I highly doubt that Hoilett would be playing for us had England come calling.

No... You're wrong... He deeply cares for Canada and takes heavy pride in living there
I'm sure he does but he has said that playing for Cote Ivoire is his dream

Well said @Ansem.... I can see he took pride in living in Québec... I guess his fam is still there, right?... If so, once season is over, he'll be back there in no time guaranteed
His family and his dad, in particular, is one of the people pushing him to play for Cote Ivoire.

It's all Canada's fault that these players aren't playing for Canada. Never had faith in them when they were younger. Guys like Tabla and Tomori should've been called up to the World Cup Qualifiers when they were 16. Outstanding talents that were overlooked and Canada instead selected absolute wastemans like Tosaint Ricketts and Dejan Jakovic and many others. Could they have rejected at that age?? Sure...do we know that they didn't reject but they didn't get asked...also a yes. What a shambles.

He won’t be playing for Ivory Coast. Just have to be patient.
If he moves to any of those European teams mentioned, he'll get capped. What are you talking about

@Kadenge I couldn't agree more.... Damn Drogba, maybe for whispering in his ear to play for Côte d'Ivoire, so does the rumour go anyways... But as far as I am concerned, he is yet to draw any interest from the Côte d'Ivoire brass.. Haven't read anything in that regards unless there is placed source that I am unaware of that mentions it... Would you happen to know???? .... Also, is it official he is leaving the Impact and if so is it to Napoli????... They were the latest rumoured team as far as I am concerned... Who would be able to replace him should he not commit to the CANMNT senior squad????... I was thinking in Zanatta as he is also a forward and seems to have been doing quite good, albeit in Scottish League One, which according to some V's here they considered it to be pretty low-level, one went as far as pointing out that it may be slightly better than League 1 Ontario fwiw, lmfao.... As much as I hate to say, he's never been as highly touted as Ballou.... Here's hoping he can develop and progress well with Hearts should he become a regular in the first team, but Ballou is the most flashy and exciting of the two. nevertheless (as much as it hurts to say, lmfao) .. Would've love to see this guy for CANMNT, as early as this past GC, but still hold my breath for it.... I don't know about you..As I read in one article and as evidenced by that infamous U20 friendly win over U20 England, he & Davies would be phenomenal and put the CANMNT to a whole other level, at least in that area of the game (forward play)... One can just think for now, right????... Zambrano pushed hard to get him on board, could Herdman do the same, particularly given his successful track record in getting domestic/local talent on board with the women's???... Any thoughts on it being successful in recruiting him???... As per Chad_Impact, if he does move to Europe his chances to play for CANMNT die down in a beat... It'd be Napoli where he will venture to, right?
Replace him? He was never there to be replaced

Not even on the bench for the CL game.
I was reading some Besiktas fan tweets that mentioned Larin. They think it wasn't the coaches decision to buy him and that's why he won't get a shot.
