I really don't understand this, it's not like the team is filled with gifted attackers from what I've seen. He seemed like one of the more positive players in the one game he did sub in.

Yup, you can maintain a great field in bad conditions like they do in England and elsewhere but when you have an american football team playing on it, good luck. 

Canada should have a fortress like the U.S does with Columbus. One day perhaps when Halifax has a SSS stadium it could be one.
