  1. 4 men's games so far this summer. Good to see we are getting games
  2. Didn't know where to post this and I didn't want to start a thread, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong thread. I found on Wikipedia that Canada will be participating in the 2016 Kirin Challenge Cup, playing against Japan on June 16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_national_football_team#Recent_results_and_fixtures I tried a google search but found nothing. I know Wikipedia is not a very reliable but does anyone have any info?
  3. I was thinking the same... ...but I found another one. Still a US Soccer upload
  4. Judging by this photo attached to the article, I'd guess one of them would be Aparicio
  5. "In addition to Canadian-based talent, Gale’s under-20 player pool also includes Harry Paton of Kitchener, from Fulham’s under-18 academy in London, and Montreal-born Yuri dos Santos, who is in the Ajax system in Netherlands. He also has players in the Chelsea and Stoke systems who were unable to attend the most recent camp." I'd assume that the player in the Stoke system is Kosovar Sadiki. Is the player in the Chelsea system Fikayo Tomori?
  6. Any highlights? I missed the game because of work.
  7. Some updates on the roster from Squizz and Molinaro: "Floro says “the only reason” he didn’t call Osorio is that Hutchinson and Johnson are both healthy and ready to play." (https://twitter.com/DanielSquizzato/status/638780424546873344) "Floro says Atiba and Johnson were fit--that's why he didn't pick Osorio. Also said he believes in Bekker-that's why he picked him." (https://twitter.com/JohnMolinaro/status/638776688713814017)
  8. Any relation to Richie Laryea? I wonder if they will have a similar camp of PLSQ players.
  9. Or Vanney asking to keep players to remain in playoff contention. He's also been in contact with USSF asking to keep Bradley and Altidore. (http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2015/08/27/report-us-national-team-captain-michael-bradley-expected-miss-friendly-again) But yes, pleasant surprises indeed. A young side too, which I also like to see. Was hoping for OO and Leutwiler though.
  10. Somone asked him on Twitter back in October and he said he would consider playing for Canada (couldn't find the actual tweet). http://www.thevoyageurs.org/index.php?/topic/25337-new-mother-of-all-canadians-abroad/?p=495464 Just going to have to wait and see I guess. Seems like a great talent. Hopefully the CSA has been in contact with him or atleast are aware of him.
  11. Any highlights? I wasn't able to watch the game.
  12. Don't know if this has been posted yet but Brazil released their Pan-Am squad about a week or so ago: http://selecao.cbf.com.br/noticias/selecao-base-masculina/selecao-brasileira-esta-convocada-para-o-pan#.VYjas-ccsmZ Not too familiar with the Brazilian youth system (they did reach the finals of the U-20 World Cup in NZ for what its worth). Any players to keep an eye on?
  13. According to their official website he is with the "A-junioren" squad. I'm guessing that's the U-19 team. http://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/voetbal/jeugdteams/a-junioren Surprised he wasn't called up for the last U-20 cycle.
