This guy's career is a puzzle to me. Is he that bad defensively? Puts up up numbers but can't seem to stick anywhere.

Diego Reveco (1999) has been signed by A.S. Morolo in Italy. They play in the fifth tier of Italian football.
Reveco, who has been mentioned a few times on this board but is not yet listed in the MOACA list, most recently was on the books at Colo Colo in Chile. He is from Winnipeg and has a Chilean Father and an Italian Mother.

Disagree. I don't think his form was bad last year. He had excellent competition at SKC and couldnt lock down a starting spot his first year in the league. It happens - doesnt mean he is not MLS quality.
His lack of MLS contract is more a product of teams not being able to justify an international spot on a left back, when he is at a comparable level to domestic left backs. He was also on a decent sized contract, 190K, and was making more than Sinovic who was his left back competition.
He didn't have a great game against the US, but I thought he had a good Gold Cup, especially against Costa Rica. He was at the level we needed him to be in the fall WCQs. Lets not forget his free kick against Jamaica in the 2014 friendly and the strike against Ghana last fall. He is still by far our best LB option and I hope things work out for him in Ottawa.

Dejong in NASL. Quite a fall over the last 4 years for him.
Official now. Marcel DeJong signs with Ottawa Fury.

Looks like de Jong is being released by SKC. Hope he finds another club and fast.
"You can add Marcel de Jong to the growing list of Canadian internationals who have been kicked to the curb by MLS. The defender was recently told by Sporting Kansas City that he is no longer in the team’s plans. His tenure with SKC lasted all of 847 minutes."

As mentioned by BBTB in the Valour thread, Christian Gutierrez is staying with Colo Colo. One of their left backs is injured so they're not letting him go. Hopefully he gets playing time and wins another contract.
