I think you're right after-all. I passed it to JPG. Although he must have done it twice because Kurosawa didn't take it over from Joe McCarthy. Unless there was somebody else in there who I thought was JPG.

Went and had a look.  I started my thread on feb 24 2013.  Apparently I volunteered right away, but didn't start the thread till February. here is the thread from jpg, oddly what I forgot was that you recommended me which I actually responded to as the catalyst for me doing it.  So if you started a thread, you didn't run it for long at all relatively speaking.  I think it's possible you might be the one having the memory lapse though, but if not help me out?  Here's the thread.

Additionally, I'd been thinking of asking this for a while, and yeah I made sure if I was ever going to choose to step back from it that it was between transfer windows when there would, as socceronly said, be a lot less urgency to make any decisions.  I felt pretty lucky that fussball stepped up so quickly, actually.
From my perspective the time frame on this is going really well, hasn't even been 24 hours yet and people are already stepping up.  If there's any way at all I can help feel free to include me

I just finished work and am just now reading this.  All I can say is I apologize if my departure from the thread is causing any unexpected conflict.  I, for one, as someone who was not a senior V when the thread was even made...I am personally indifferent on the matter of how it is hosted.  But I'm relatively new, just like Jon, so...
I remember, though, when I did take the thread over from jpg, there was an interim period of a month or so where absolutely noone wanted the task.  The only reason I even stepped in was because noone else would.
So here's the million dollar question...I was simply hoping to step away, so if Jon is willing to step in and do it his way...I'm all for that, and support fussball eh in that.
The only alternative then for those that wish for the traditional approach, is to find someone willing to do it in the traditional way.  I can see jpg doing it very begrudgingly, or myself doing it begrudgingly, but here we have Fussball Eh who has been chomping at the bit WANTING to do this and loving it.  Maybe he could be convinced respectfully to do it the traditional way, but then he is comfortable with his google doc and used to it.  The initial time on him trying to change that information to the board way, with the info he would like to provide is HOURS on HOURS of work (trust me)
So with all that information, what's the best resolution, really?

I prefer having the list on our forum and on the first page of the thread but I don't mind it on the linked google spreadsheet either. Unless someone else is willing to put in the time and do the work to run the list we really have to accept the preferences of the guy who is willing to do it and be thankful for his efforts as well.
