  1. No no, there is volunteer and there is paid. Also, no one coaches kids forever. As in every job there is a ladder you have to climb. So I am asking how much does this job pay in general
  2. Juby you live where I want to live You want to do what I want to do I think we should talk a little more extensively! Wanna exchange msn or something? (that goes for everyone interested)
  3. Thanks for the response Ed! Yes of course I have 0 experience but on the one hand most jobs in Canada give as a minimum 2k per month and on the other, my question was more general. Let's say I want a career in it, I get my experience, my certifications etc etc. How will it be in 3-4-5 years time? Also, what exactly did you mean by "6 figures" ? Thanks!
  4. seriously? This is great news? You mean that even if I don't find a decent job at first a s a coach, I will certainly be able to volunteer and coach kids and no one will reject me "just because"? Can you please answe to some more questions? - What are the working hours of this job? - How is the pay like? - In order to even start, what certification do I need, and can you link me to somewhere for info?
  5. and what if i get an answer like " go find out on your own, we don't need coaches here" ? I am always afraid of these stuff.
  6. Hello! My name in Vangelis and I am from Europe, Greece. In some months I will be a permanent residence of Canada and I am extremely interested in pursuing a career as a soccer coach. The only knowledge I have in the subject is from the passion I have for the game and having been a soccer fan for the last 15 years! I would very much appreciate it if you could spare some time and discuss about it with me, give me info and advice.! thanks!
  7. thank you for your answer! Can you please be a little more descriptive? details etc? I have no knowledge about coaching and I am an information needing person! let me start by asking some questions if you prefer 1) How do you get certifications? standard course procedure? you take a coaching course etc? How easy are they and what do they cost? 2) Is it a job that pays well? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE soccer and I would do it because it is my life and not for the money, but I am asking just for the informative part of it! 3) I will most probably be living in Toronto and I will not be able to commute out of it so probably I will have to find something there. Are there many vacancies? Again, thanks a million for your time
