  1. I won't be surprised if we play low quality Concacaf opponents, and Herdman calls it a great warm up.

I could only think that playing a Venezuela, Bolivia, or Ecuador would be better test. Even if its not on home soil.

  2. Are the free tickets still available?  I want to go to the game....but at 1:00pm and having to pay, I might as well go to the TFC game.

    Am I wrong?

  3. Just remembered Hamilton will wear a gold jersey for their first game in June.

Forge FC will pay homage to the illustrious history of Hamilton sports and the great teams that have paved the way.

From the 15-time Grey Cup Champion Hamilton Tiger-Cats, to the defending OHL champion Hamilton Bulldogs, to the NHL’s Hamilton Tigers of the 1920’s. Hamilton teams have proudly worn black and gold.

In honour of Hamilton’s birthday (June 9, 1846) and our great sporting culture, Forge FC will pay tribute by donning black and gold kits during their first match in June.

Wonder if they'll just turn the Orange jersey Gold.

Eustaquio isn't really crucial. Maybe that's the plan but he played 1 game for them and then got hurt. We don't know how big of an influence he will be for Cruz Azul.

edit: oops nevermind you were talking about Wil Trapp.

Even still, if both Rusty and Step play the same roles for their team. One is playing/training in an inferior league/with better players.

All in all Rusty should be fighting for his place in the 23...but I feel he already has it for whatever reason.

I had a chance to ask Vic about the GC ever being hosted completely in Canada or somewhere else and he straight up said no. Co-hosting is fine but ultimately it's a joke the US and Mexico have a homefield advantage at every tourney.  And this current co-hosting is kind of dumb because it's not like Mexico will have to play in Jamaica or anything like that.

I thought Canada co-hosting was dumb tbh.

If you cant host the whole thing, what does 2 games really do.

But then again when the Canadian team plays back east not a lot of people come out so it must be a bit of a different experience. So i guess i understand how you feel

  7. All im saying is hes been a professional for the Whitecaps for nearly 10 years... His time to solidify his spot in middle is beyond now.

We all want to see him succeed, but his trajectory is going a lot slower than a lot of players who are ahead of him.
