Wild guess, nothing to do with him, more or less Kilmarnock were in touching distance of second and have lost 3 of the last 4, getting 1 point in the process.

Pretty much exactly what has been happening. He’s training well is close to a start and has featured in 4 out of the 4 games he has been on the bench for.

But it’s a tough route. Exactly what he needs. to fight and push and try to fight his way into the starting line up. That’s his goal for this loan. .

He had a meeting with Steve Clarke yesterday and was told he’s doing well he’s very close to a start but be patient and keep working. Goto love a manager that lets u know where u stand...

3 out of the 4 youngsters (phonzie liam and ballou are getting the same treatment atm David is doing really well) but it’s part of the process to becoming a top top player..

happy with his journey so far!!

And David had the same happen to him at the beginning of the season. Was coming off the bench despite scoring consistently. Hopefully we'll see Liam do the same

In my opinion to be even put in the match as a youngster means the manager must rate u and trust u. Trust is the big thing  they must be doing something right...

That’s huge and really just are one good performance away  from starting.

Good times for Canadian soccer to be having these discussion about players trying to get playing time at big clubs at a young age...

Hey Spitfire, not sure you can or want to answer this, but I am going to ask anyway.  Do the four of them (Liam, Ballou, Davies and David) get along, push each other, follow each other's progress?  Just curious, completely understand if can't/don't want to answer.

I saw an interview with Davies where he was talking about texting his buddy, who was at Liverpool, as soon as the draw for the CL last 16 was made. We can only assume that means that Phonz and Liam are mates.
