Gordon Banks and Eric Harrison RIP

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd give notice to the recent passing of two English legends, player and youth coach, who died away within a day of each other.  Banks was respected by so many of his international contemporaries as one of the best keepers (if not the best) of his era, backstopping his national team to its only World Cup in the process.  Harrison was one of the key architects of that special young group of Man U players (the "Class of '92) that formed the foundation for the club's dominance during the Fergie era.

Rest in peace.
