Not much action in Germany, it's Pokalrunde and the Canadians (if any) will play on Sunday or Monday. Fortuna Duesseldorf (1) plays later today, the second team is playing a Regionalliga match right now, but I cannot determine if Froese is with them.

EDIT: Froese went 90 minutes in a 2-1 win over SV Westfalia Rhynern.

Caniggia went  from start to end for Stuttgart2, in a 2-2 draw at Hessen Kassel.

Callum Irving, Carl Haworth and Eddie Edward started for Ottawa, while Jamar Dixon and Adonijah Reid came on as substitutes in a 3-1 win over Charlotte Independence.

Edward scored the opener for Ottawa and Reid scored his first professional goal, assisted by Haworth. Great game for all Canadians involved.

Highlights:

Alessandro Hojabrpour has signed to play for Lokomotiv Plovdivs u19 team in Bulgaria

Was the captain of the Whitecaps U16s, played in the U-17 WCQs for Canada. Sucks that he's not sticking with the Whitecaps, as he was one of the most promising prospects coming through the residency program. Best of luck to him in Bulgaria though.

Vancouver as of late is pretty bad at bringing through their academy products, typically just burying them in USL. I'd rather see them leave.

Nanco was the best man on the pitch with an assist and a goal.

In Portugals Segunda, Stephen Eustaquio put in another full shift as Leuxoes beat Varzim 2-1.

Milan Borjan wins 3-1 against Backa

Do you have a good site to track the French lower Divisions? With Bassong, Reid, Yuma and Gagnon-Lapare it's getting kinda interesting.

I find getting info at this level pretty hard other than Lille/Sedan. This site is great for Lille. https://www.facebook.com/toutsurlille/ they post all the teams and updates. So you get the U19 and reserve updates, for example hes currently injured. For Gagnon-Lapare I look at photos here https://www.facebook.com/asvitrefootball/ and search twitter for "Gagnon-Lapare as vitre" and will usually get at least a lineup hit, but no sub info. For Mercy and Yuma the Sedan twitter account seems on the ball.
